Comment: I loved the set of pearls, the cherry wood-mirrored box is a beauty. They make a beautiful gift for a friend or family member. I wear pearls every day and this set is double knotted, so when it unravels as strings of pearls all eventually do, only a single pearl will really fail. In which case I’ll just send them back to Yates and have them restring them up for another few years or so of wear, repeating the process again and again without the need for their replacement. These are great if you just want some nice everyday pearls even if you’ll eventually upgrade to a higher grade that is more round, pale and maybe larger in size which aren’t exactly practical for daily life and are just more ideal for a night out on the town or a formal event like your birthday, or a gala.

I made a mistake when ordering (late on a Saturday night) and left a message asking for help correcting my error. They responded the next day (despite being closed) and told me they would fix my mistake. The order was shipped immediately, arrived promptly and was even better than I expected. They reached out a week or so later to make sure I was happy with my purchase. I was and I am!Cannot recommend Yates more highly! Check them out and let them take great care of you like they did me!

Comment: My wife and I are from a different state than California and we were looking for a 28 rose gold wheat chain that was 1.6 mm in width and was unable to locate one where we lived. We did some research on the internet and found Yates & Co Jewelers and reached out to them. Jewelry agent Melody Curiel was so courteous and helpful. She reached out to multiple vendors and was unable to locate the exact length and width that we preferred. Focused on making the customer happy, she did not stop there. She forwarded us some other chain styles that fell within our length and width parameters and made recommendations on options for adding an extender to the length of the necklace. We finally settled on a 18 2 mm wheat chain with a 3 extender that Yates & Co. Jewelers added O rings to, allowing for the chain to be adjusted to 19, 20 and 21. Melody also helped us secure some rose gold earring posts and backs. The customer service provided was exceptional and pricing was very reasonable. This was the first time we have bought fine jewelry from another U.S. jeweler where the purchase was not made in person. Melody kept in constant contact with us and the items arrived exactly when she said they would. We would not hesitate to use Yates & Co. Jewelers again! We could not ask for a better experience.

I have worn the ring daily since then; even after her death in 2013 I continued to wear the ring until a couple of weeks ago - I somehow lost the ring. He then asked me for my I.D. so that he could go write me out a check & before I knew it, he was back asking for my thumb print & signature so that we could close the deal! Then as Scott was handing me my check (still smiling) he thanked me & said that they had a bank across the street, Oak Valley Community Bank where I could go to cash the check if I wanted. I think my jaw dropped just then because I had received a very fair offer on my valuables from an amazing staff of people that were prompt, professional & so very courteous to assist me! Comment: Always enjoy going here. When my husband and I got engaged I told him the only place he was allowed to purchase our wedding rings was at Yates. When he ordered the wrong size Titanium wedding band for himself, they exchanged it at no extra charge. Why is this a big deal? These rings can not be re-sized once they are made.Another reason I enjoy shopping at this store, they have unique items. Yes they do have some standard pieces, like diamond studs. However, they had a necklace, that if I could have afforded it I would have bought it. It was a piece of turquoise inside a pearl. Parts of the pearl were cut away so you could see the turquoise. It was beautiful. I havent seen anything like it anywhere else.Needless to say I dont shop the cookie cutter jewelry stores that offer inferior jewelry for financing. I shop Yates and only Yates.
