Comment: Yes they are the best. My dear friend Valerie passed away last year and I found Hazel and Katherine on Yelp. Seeing the five star reviews I knew they would be good. They helped Vals niece from Canada take care of everything. We put everything into their hands and we were so glad we did.

Comment: Hiring Hazel and Katherine to handle my mother’s estate in January 2015 was the best decision I made under the stressful circumstance of grieving. These two very professional women and their trusty assistant, Paul, swiftly and carefully organized, priced and hosted a two-day sale, then left the house broom clean as agreed. They were trustworthy and always made themselves available to me at any moment. Here are a few things you can expect if you choose Senior Sorters to conduct your estate sale. They’ll go through everything in your house at lightening speed to organize it, price it out and find buyers for specialty items. They take LOTS of pictures, create a personalized webpage and promote the event to their big list of followers. Then, on the day of the event, they come in and sell it all. After it’s over, they get rid of everything you don’t want and write you a check for the money from the sale (minus their fee and income tax – which they save and pay for you).My mother had A LOT of ‘stuff’ and the thought of just my sister and I clearing out my mother’s house was paralyzing. Hazel and Katherine turned all that ‘stuff’ into merchandise, displayed it beautifully and the sale garnered much more money than expected. The sale itself was well run and very secure considering there were people lining up four hours before the doors opened on the first day.Advice: If you have light colored or cream rug and wish to reduce wear and tear while hundreds of people trek through the house during the sale, do yourself a favor and find a solution PRIOR to the day of the sale. Buy cheap runner carpet and tape it down leading up to the door and inside along the major arteries of the sale. Buy those little medical shoe booties in bulk online or from a supply store. One last thing I like about Senior Sorters is it is a family-run business. I found Hazel’s son and Katherine’s niece to be charming and hard working. Everyone knows their job and they have their system down pat. I felt confident the entire time, that they had it all under control. I’m hoping I will never be in this situation again but if I ever were, I would hire Hazel and Katherine in a heartbeat.
