Comment: Claudio and Maggie allowed me to work at my sister’s estate sale. Normally, they do not allow clients at their sales. What a shocking experience, people running in the house a grabbing at items, dropping things, buyers being rude to one another. I truly felt sorry for Claudio who had to deal with the buyer’s. They constantly were bickering with him throughout the day. This was a high end estate sale with prices slashed to be given to a new home. We would highly recommend using Selling Your Estate Inc. to handle your estate sale liquidation. They are honest and extremely hard working people. Thank you for everything.

I spoke with other providers but after talking and meeting with Claudio and Maggie, I new they were the fit I was looking for.We walked though the property and discussed the preparation, execution, and final steps. I was also happy to learn that Claudio and Maggie could list the house for sale. Nothing like one stop shopping!Claudio and Maggie did exactly what they stated. The estate sale was held, the house was emptied, and a cleaning crew came in for final preparation for sale.Once the house was listed, there was a lot of viewing activity. Comment: Id give 6 stars if I could. Used Claudio for everything (Estate Sale, Clean-up, and Realty services)! Didnt know the first thing to do in cleaning out my mothers 5-bedroom home with 40 plus years of accumulated stuff! I went through things for about a week and finally decided to get some professional help. Claudio came by within 5 minutes of my first phone call. He was able to go through the home and was quickly able to see what had some value and what would be more difficult to sell for an estate sale. He explained his services and costs up front. He left me some information and referrals. No hard sales tactics. I appreciated the honesty. I spoke with the family, and we decided to put our hands in Claudios. Best choice we could have made. With his guidance he was able to clean and organize an estate sale in just a couple days. (Heard from the neighbors how clean and organized the estate sale was). After the estate sale he and his crew cleared out and cleaned the entire home getting it ready to sell. We had an offer in no time and with Claudios connections and help made it through the whole process to the close of escrow. Its amazing all the twists and turns, but Claudio stayed on top of things and kept me updated the entire way. Oh, did I mention I no longer live in Ventura, so I did this mostly from long distance. Claudio was my eyes and ears through the whole process. Thank you, Claudio!!!

Comment: Following our father’s passing earlier this year, my sister and I needed some help in clearing out the house he had lived in for more than 30 years. This job was made more difficult by the fact that he had been a dedicated hoarder, saving almost everything, so the attic and other storage areas were jammed full of belongings. The realtor we retained to sell the house referred us to Selling Your Estate, and they proved to be very capable. They made all of the arrangements for clearing out the house, from an estate sale which they did all the marketing for, to using a crew to help get rid of all the things that didn’t move in the estate sale. They are obviously very experienced at this kind of work, and went about this job with virtually no oversight by us. The results are excellent, and I would recommend them to anyone who finds themself needing a similar service.

He purchased some of the items, coordinated the collection and donation of a truckload of items and was able to coordinate the challenging collection of a piano as well. He even assisted me with the tax donation spreadsheet. He was incredibly responsive and I dont know what I wouldve done without him. I highly recommend Claudio and his business for anyone who has to deal with liquidating an estate, particularly one housed in a gated community.

Comment: We needed remote help in cleaning out my Mother-in-law’s storage units and found Claudio. He was incredibly helpful and found a location to move her stuff to keep us from paying additional months of storage. He then carefully organized and sold all of it, finding innovative ways to get rid of what didn’t sell for a tax credit. In addition Claudio’s team sorted through 7 storage units to find several small keepsakes and several boxes of family pictures. Claudio was imminently helpful, always courteous, gave timely updates and guided us through the whole process via FaceTime and phone calls. I am happy to recommend Claudio and his team to anyone who needs help with an estate or clean out. He was a life saver for us.

Comment: I have been attending the estate sales of Claudio and Maddie for years, and found they have tried to balance the need to get the best price for the estate as possible and provide reasonable prices for buyers. Generally, everything is priced, and if it is not, their notices state that pricing will be done at checkout due to a last minute set up for an estate. Estate sales sometimes are arranged at the last minute and that can leave no time to set up and price. I have no problem with Claudio looking up prices on items at checkout and showing people prices on Ebay - it is a common method to determine prices, and helps people who are requesting unreasonably low prices know that the prices being set by Selling Your Estate are not out of line with reality. I have looked up princes on Ebay when I bring items to checkout with them, and negotiated for bundle pricing. I have seen buyers being rude when they do not get a price of 10% of the market price of an item, forgetting that the sale is for the benefit of an estate, not the buyers. Buyers do get good prices, but hould not expect low ball prices. After over 7 years of buying from Claudio and Maggie, I will continue to attend their sales.

Comment: I am so upset with the people writing horrible things about Selling Your Estate. I have been coming to their sales for six years and always enjoy their sales. I was at the last sale in Thousand Oaks and the owners did tell the people that this was a last minute sale and they had to look up items to give fair prices below any that were found on the internet. I spent thousands of dollars at this sale was extremely pleased with their service. Lastly, I would like to say that I was very surprised how the buyers were badgering the owners on pricing when they were more than reasonable. It is sad how people just want to make other peoples life miserable

They were prompt, courteous, reliable and very knowledgeable regarding items and their value.Claudio keep me in touch with me frequently to update what was going on. The caveat was the “Clean Out”, this was my friend’s home who had a ton of “stuff”. He hired a Dumpster and emptied the house out. The last night he stayed until close to 11 to finish. We engaged the services of Claudio de Medeiros and his wife, Margaret, to handle the sale of her parents’ estate, and then to serve as our real estate agent in selling their house.Throughout the entire three month process, Claudio was a dedicated and tireless worker on our behalf. He was always available to discuss any questions or problems that arose. We had several difficulties in preparing our house for sale and Claudio went the extra mile for us. Claudio did whatever was required to keep the process moving forward. A further complication was that we lived two and a half hours away from where my wife’s parents lived, which made it necessary for Claudio to serve as our representative when we couldn’t be there. He did this without complaint.Suffice it to say, I don’t think either the estate sale or the sale of the house would have been as smooth had not Claudio been there working with us. They were both incredibly kind, knowledgable, and professional. I appreciated that they took the time to explain every small part of their contract and answer my numerous questions. They carried out their commitments by finding sellers for some higher valued items within 48 hours and ultimately sold the entire estate for a much higher amount than what was offered by competing companies.
