Comment: There is a review on this Broker (Mr. Joseph Melara) by Ms. Francine Failoni that is totally and utterly inaccurate. I am the other person Ms. Failoni purchased the home with, so I know the “true” details. Initially I was not selling my half to her. We were going to put the house on the market because Ms. Failoni and I were splitting up, and Joseph Melara was to be the selling agent. Then Ms. Failoni decided she wanted to buy me out. And he never did anything unethical — that is a “lie”. Ms. Failoni’s review list 4 items. I will address them one by one:1. The title company involved represented both myself and Ms. Failoni. They kept us both up to date on everything involved. Ms. Judy Hathaway of Equity Plus can “verify” that fact. Ms. Failoni frequently ignores Emails and Text message. She is very difficult to reach2. And she was offered a “Walkthrough” and I am sure Mr. Melara can provide written proof. He sent her a message (and also sent it to her sister who lives in the same development) offering a walkthrough at their leisure. Since I left the home a few days before closing, he sent photos to “prove” (at my request) I left the house in excellent shape.3. There is no 34. Equity Pus handled all the financial information. And Ms. Failoni paid all the fees because I refused to pay any of them. The house was worth much more than the amount she was paying me, so I told her I would not pay any fees, Mr. Melara had nothing to do with that. Once again, totally inaccurate account of what transpired.5. The Golf Cart sale was initially in the sales contract. Ms. Failoni made him take it out, and stated “in writing” she would provide the money at closing. I left Mr. Melara the FEDEX envelop to mail the check to me in North Carolina. There was never any mention of providing it at a walkthrough. Ms Failoni was not even in California at closing. And she DID NOT provide a check at closing for the Golf Cart. It took me a week after closing of badgering her to get her to honor her commitment. Her review of Mr. Melara is disrespectful and dishonest. AND I WOULD SWEAR TO MY REVIEW UNDER OATH.
