Comment: I stopped by ppm a couple weeks ago to buy some bullion. They honestly have the most professional service and setting I’ve ever seen. Coin shops usually have unhappy employees and prices way over spot. Ppm is a different story, it was a one on one, sit down at a desk, have all your questions answered type of ordeal. When I wanted to see something from the back they would bring it right out. You know you can trust a bullion dealer when they have Invested into an XRF machine. I ended up buying a pamp gold bar, and I couldn’t have asked for more ease with the whole transaction. I highly recommend you buy your precious metals from ppm.👌👌

Comment: We had a complex transaction that involved an inherited coin collection. There were dozens of grades and categories. Dan is clearly passionate about his precious metals. He knows a ton and is straight up honest. He and Robin took the time required to help us through the quagmire of this oddball collection. Its a dicey industry and to find someone that I trust is a true blessing. I cant thank Dan and Robin enough for their expertise and willingness to do the hard work to be fair. Thanks!

Comment: Stacking silver now for five years, started with several online dealers trying to get lowest premiums, decided didnt want to leave the paper trail and started using coin shops, that was good, then thought Id try PPM as I live in west Marin.. no need to go anywhere else in the future. Dans company is all you could ask for when purchasing precious metals. Personable, safe, professional.

Comment: Honestly one of, if not the nicest bullion dealer Ive been to. Their location is set in the heart of Sausalito and the experience is next none, you actually set behind a desk and deal with a rep one on one, all your concerns, questions, and interests are addressed on the spot (no pun) and you finish whatever your agenda might be for that visit. I love the high end setting, a typical coin shop doesnt offer that kind of experience nor do they cater to you like PPM does. Comment: I have visited many bullion shops in USA, Asia, Middle East, and Europe who sell gold & silver coins & bars but I found Pacific Precious metals unique. I was very much impressed on meeting Dan Barrett who has excellent knowledge in the field of currency, bullion, commodity markets, home market, US & global economies, bond markets. Not many bullion dealers have got the understanding on various market segments or have the patience to talk with their customers as their focus is to sell their products. In the past meetings, I evaluated that Dan is personality who was able to talk about European economy and their central banks, US fed happenings,monetory easing programs viz QE1,QE2,QE3,Operation twist,asian markets, emerging economies (BRIC nations).He has great knowledge in the field of crude oil which I think a bullion dealer should have. Dan gives special attention to customer without focusing on selling his product and I found he is very polite, has patience to explain a lay man and best part was that he never pushes to sell his products at the end of the discussion or explanation.Few of my friends bought 24k jewelry and were finding an assayer. Fortunately, I found Pacific Precious Metals to be one among the very few facility to offer assay service (purity test) at affordable cost. My friends were happy and Dan had the patience to explain them how the various testing process for purity works and gave a demo between a gold jewel and iron plate.Knowing many facts about the bullion market, currency market, commodity market I found Dan is a, right choice for a novice to make or start his/her buy in precious metals. Also I found Dan offers a very competitive price for the branded products (like PAMP,JM,Credit Suisse) over the spot price when compared to other bullion dealers in the bay area or the mid west regions or online prices. Dan keeps his commitment, my friend had paid and placed the order but was able to take the delivery after few days and Dan delivered regardless of prices going up between order date and delivery date .I had bitter experience in the past as dealers defaulted in delivery due to increment in prices. In absence of Dan. his staffs, Mica and Robin were easy to deal who are polite.I would definitely and strongly recommend pacific precious metals for someone who is a true and promising buyer in precious metals or wants to test their jewelry for purity or need to evaluate their jewelry.Wish Dan starts a branch office in the east of bay area.

Comment: Buy from the best! I am a very experienced Gold and Silver Investor (almost 40 years) I buy every couple of weeks and sell sometimes to improve my portfolio ... I have had an office in a refinery many years back and even worked in a Pawn Shop for a few days before I decided not to buy it….. so I can tell you from personal experience that this is industry can be very intimidating …. Before you Buy or sell you need to know and trust your broker…..I ran across Dan a couple of years ago and meet him at his Sausalito office It was fairly busy so I took the Opportunity to sit, watch, and listen as they dealt with many repeat and new customers. I was Impressed on how High Tech this company is. They have a $25,000 Florescent X-ray Machine…. (looks like a Buck Rogers Ray Gun) I watched them use in on about 40 pieces of old silverware someone brought in to sell … they pulled the trigger on each piece and the display showed the % of copper, silver etc. (92% silver meant Sterling ) and found two spoons that were only Plated. The sterling was weighed on Expensive Gram scales and the customer was paid what I thought was more than a fair price. You won’t find this method at very many other buying offices….All this is important to me as a buyer because there are a lot of Fakes out there and I like the idea that my coin broker tests every coin I buy 1st. This is a small company but is high volume so Their prices are right. With no Minimums . they beat APMEX and the other big National Dealers every time …. I am located over 500 miles away and now deal Just over the phone or via email.. All deliveries are accurate and on time. Any problems are addressed quickly and fairly. Dan is a Devoted family man that is in this for the long term…. Buy and sell with confidence here.

Comment: I am fairly new to gold investment,so i made several small purchases at local dealers, to gauge my impressions. I live in the east bay but now drive to the Marin county store for all my needs .The technology Dan employs to verify the content of items,willingness to do multiple tests and the lack of a pawnshop atmosphere all put Pacific Precious Metals far above any of the other 5 dealers i did business with. Recommended with out reservation.
