We had learned about Nadia Alrawi and the 55+ community at Oakmont through our daughter. We were not planning to move for a year or two, but Nadia offered to show us the neighborhood and look at some typical homes. We were very impressed by the community and the condition of the properties. Nadia quickly picked up on the style and features we liked and found locations that fit. We soon realized that we were ready to relocate. We found a house we really liked and put in a bid, but were not successful. While we were disappointed, Nadia knew that there was no pressure for an immediate purchase/move and encouraged us to be patient until the style we wanted became available. When we were preparing to list our home, she was honest in her assessment of the home value and worked with us to list at a fair market price that would bring potential buyers to our home. Comment: I have no way to thank Nadia enough for guiding me through the 1031 process during a difficult time for me. I was living out of state when I decided to sell my California home. A friend recommended Nadia who had sold her neighbors home. Shortly after she agreed to sell my home, and while she was out of the country, I suffered a heart attack. My friend contacted her with the news and her immediate response was Dont worry, Ill handle everything and she did!! Nadia either answered my calls on the spot or got back to me quickly even when it was the middle of the night for her while she was travelling. That was important to me as I had very little stamina at that time. She was always cheerful and patient with my questions and concerns and general ignorance when it came to real estate and documents. We very recently had the distinct pleasure of working with Nadia for our purchase of a home in Bodega Bay. We connected with Nadia by chance when we put thru a request for more info on a particular house in Bodega Bay. When we let her know that wed be in the area for a few days, she set up multiple viewings on extremely short notice. The home that we eventually purchased was one she found for us - she knew what we wanted before we did! Once we formally bid on and won the house, Nadia was with us every step of the way. Comment: Hello, we meet Nadia at an open house in RP. We had been thinking about moving to the Santa Rosa area for sometime, but didnt have a realtor and didnt know where we wanted to buy. One of the things I really liked about her is she drove us around various neighborhoods in SR and told us about the area in addition to school, shopping, parks etc. I didnt know realtors still provided this type of services. Comment: Nadia was a blessing to work with. First of all she listened to what I said I wanted in a home. When Nadia showed me places she asked what it was that I liked and didnt like about each place so that she could incorporate that into finding the home that was right for me. Nadia never hesitated to show me places that I found that were outside my original interests.When we found a home that I wanted, it was outside my price range and Nadia didnt hesitate to make an offer on my behalf that was inside my price range. Lo and behold we were able to negotiate a price that allowed me to get the house that I wanted.Nadias work wasnt done after negotiating the price. My situation was out of the ordinary and there were some curve balls by my lender. Nadia worked with the sellers agent to reassure the seller that I was serious about the house and that the issues that had come up were strictly circumstantial and would be resolved.Nadia has a strong understanding of the market, having both lived in the area and worked in real estate for several years. Nadia was professional and personable, which was important to me because after all, purchasing a home is personal.
