Comment: We had a challenging assignment for a real estate team. Our property was in sore need of a lot of TLC and we needed to sell it in an “as-is” condition. Contacted Mike and he was able to carve out time the next day to get a visual on the property. He truly has a heartbeat of the local market, gave us a fair and honest review of the existing conditions and also was able to provide us with the potential value if listed as an as-is listing. We executed an agreement with Mike to list the property and in less than 2 weeks the property was under contract, and ultimately escrow closed within 5 weeks of initial listing. Mike and his team were responsive, communicative and answered our many questions about the process. Mike was able to turn our very stressful situation into a stress-free simple transaction. Comment: I have known Mike Chou since 2013 when he sold my Diamond Bar home. This year I had a different sales need from him. My mom who is suffering from Dementia, needed to sell her home quickly to help pay for her memory care living facility. This home sale gave Mike a special challenge since my mom had lived there for 30 years and there was a leak and other defects in the home which would make it more challenging to sell. In addition, my mom had rooms full of items that would take time to remove to get it ready to sell. Mike didnt blink an eye at the challenges. He had his AMAZING photographers come and help transform my moms outside of the home into that of a story book house. He then helped me be able to team with mom, so I could represent her best interests in selling the home legally. Then he helped me create a plan to fix the most important items to make the home marketable and ready to sell quickly. Through it all, he gave our family great advise, stayed incredibly calm when challenges popped up and best of all, he made this incredible task of selling her home a POSITIVE experience and helped us get the most money possible for her home. Mike answered and returned all phone calls quickly and he will kept us informed every step of the way through the escrow process. We now have a large nest egg of money that will help care for her needs for the next decade. We are very grateful to him for his guidance, his kindness, and his many years of expertise. Comment: My man Mike def deserved this review years ago. We were looking at Pasadena for the longest time and he was always incredibly helpful each and every time we wanted a showing. Was never late and was always very knowledgeable with a plan and our strategy.Fast forward a couple of years, I had actually made the call to move me and my company to Las Vegas so Pasadena wasnt in the question in the near term future.Did Mike get upset? Never!! Instead, he tried to be selflessly helpful despite us looking in a separate state. Because of that experience, I would always use Mike & his brokerage whenever the opportunity comes up.Fast forward to today, an opportunity came up to use Mikes company - I was helping family purchase a property. It was outside of his normal territory in Pasadena & San Marino so he introduced us to an excellent agent in his brokerage named Annie Xu. She was punctual, helpful, and very knowledgeable & we closed quickly and without any hiccups. In todays market, that is almost unheard of. She went out of her way multiple times to cater to my schedule since I am living out of California now. She also introduced us to many contractors and suppliers.Most importantly, Mike stayed involved through the whole process and gave me calming perspectives when something turned up.
