Comment: Wildest Dreams has some great clothing and interesting items. The staff is usually friendly and helpful. I have frequently gone to this store and normally find something I like.Today when I was at the counter buying my items, a loose, mixed Doberman looking dog came running towards me. The dog was not restrained. I was told that the dog belonged to a man who went there daily and was fine. Soon afterwards, the owner left with his dog.I am afraid of dogs and did not like an unknown dog running up to me and walking around me.In the future, I think it would be best to have all animals away from unknown customers.I am a paying customer and did not appreciate being frightened for no reason.

Comment: Came here to look for furniture and found so much more. Their cafe is delicious, I got the honey lavender latte. I wasn’t going to look at anything but furniture until, I was waiting for my coffee and out of the corner of my eye I saw this fantastic black and white floral short sleeve open duster jacket. I tried it on and had to buy it! Such a great statement piece on top of a plain dress. It’s also one of those one size fits most scenarios so I can keep it as I loose weight (I’m a size 22 for reference). I wish I could wear it everyday. Can’t wait to go back and check out upstairs, we’re they keep the vintage clothing and costumes.

Comment: You must come here for clothes! Male or female, there is a great selection here and all of it is in nearly pristine condition. I found four tops and a skirt for under $85. And one of those tops was an Eileen Fischer tank which retails for around $80 on its own. They have nice dressing rooms and a helpful, knowledgeable staff. Ive been here twice and found several items each time. I am plus size which is sometimes challenging but not here...I find lots of options.

Comment: If you live in Bakersfield, or have any investment in the city at all, you simply must visit In Your Wildest Dreams. It is utterly unique in this town: costumes, bizarre fashion, affordably priced antiques. The layout feels like the backstage of a (possibly haunted) theater, with nooks and crannies that you may not discover on your first visit. The employees are interesting, helpful, and clearly a part of the culture that the store has created. GO. SPEND. NOW.
