Comment: We asked Fox to do what I thought may be impossible. To restore my grandmothers wedding ring. When I inherited the ring it had signs of heavy wear, we also requested to replace the diamond with one we inherited from my step mom. It was a very big task and Fox handled it with ease and elegance. They were very respectful and professional with my desires and let us know exactly what their plans were. They also went above and beyond to further restore the ring and ensure it lasted through time with their own recommendations to bring it back to life. They were able to modify the ring and restore it without changing its original design. This was most impressive due to the restoration process this job required. When I tell you they truly outdid themselves. This ring is even better than we could have ever imagined it to be. I can’t stop staring at it. I would 1000% recommend Fox for any kind of jewelry restoration and modification.

Fast forward a bit...it ended up being that my ring needed to be completely remade in a new setting as the original setting was damaged beyond repair. I was worried as I really loved and was attached to my original ring. They promised the remake would be identical and they were right! I was so excited to pick up my ring and see that they had successfully remade the ring I originally fell in love with. Twenty two years ago my husband found the perfect engagement ring for me at Fox Fine Jewelry: princess cut diamond set in an engraved platinum ring. George was able to make a matching engraved platinum wedding ring to go with it. Fast forward to October 2022: the setting for my diamond was very worn, snagging clothing, and looking quite dull. The ring had lost a stone and had significant wear on the design elements Fox replaced the stone and rebuilt the prongs for all the stones so no further stones would be lost. The restoration of the milgrain elements brought the ring back to life. The ring looks beautiful. It looks new, and yet retains all its vintage heritage and lovely details. The owner George carefully examined my rings and was so nice, professional, and patient with my engineer husband as he asked a million questions about what he was doing. 🤣. They were very thorough in their estimates in what needed to be done to make sure the stones were secure and the band would continue to hold up beautifully. They installed a new custom cut turquoise inlay in my sons ring and we also replaced the shank. My son passed away last year, it is a very dear peice to me. They installed a bail on a heart locket so I could wear it again, checked and tightened stones on my wedding set, replaced shanks on two rings; epoxied a stone on an earring and epoxied a stone on a bracelet! It took several months as I brought in a price or two at a time. I appreciate the work they did and how everything turned out so lovely! They also have stunning jewelry for purchase! Their staff are so patient and helpful and I love how they always offer to put my jewelry in their cleaning machine while I’m being helped. They are a modern store that communicates with you via text and photos if you choose. They have resoldered (sp?) a gold link bracelet for me as well as resized several rings. When I brought in a diamond trilogy ring to be resized last month, their technician later noticed there was a chip in the middle diamond due to one of the side diamonds pressing up against it too tightly. They sent close-up photos and gave me several options on how to proceed including just leaving the diamond alone and resizing the ring as originally planned. I chose to have them repair the diamond and remount it on the outside since it would now be smaller. The ring came out looking even better than I imagined and of course now fits better too. This is simply one of the best businesses (family-owned or not) that I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with.

We did the same thing, without the rendering, on the wedding band, picking the metals, stones, and artistic design. Karen then kept us up-to-date on the process as she worked through the custom build of each. We even got to see the wedding band being casted on a video they produced for their website. Delivery was perfectly on time, if not slightly ahead of schedule, and all for perfectly reasonable pricing, which was discussed ahead of time without any surprises. I highly recommend Fox Fine Jewelry and will consider them as my jeweler for any future needs. Please check them out!

Comment: I found Fox Fine Jewelry not long after I moved to Ventura. I was nervous at first because of an uncomfortable experience at another jeweler in town. But as soon as I walked in and started telling them what my issues were they put me right at ease. I had an old wedding ring I wanted to sell, and they were so helpful, fair on pricing, and have a wonderful variety of inventory. I ended up finding a really lovely pendant and earring set there with my trade and had some left over for an upcoming bday vacation. :D I had just been to another place earlier in the day that would not give me a solid quote on selling my ring, and only wanted to reluctantly help me if I told them what I wanted for it. I read the reviews here and decided this was the place. Im positive anyone visiting Fox will have a great experience!
