She was right on the mark with Carrie. Not having moved for over 18 years the times have changed and it was definitely a different process than the last time that we had moved. Much younger back then too…and technology is now the norm which it was interesting to go through that process.Anyway Carrie was diligent and attentive. Anything that we had questions on she responded and acted quickly and a few concerns that I had regarding suppliers she listened and thanked me for my candor. She is very cool under pressure as being a former wedding planner has its advantages!She handled the open house professionally and with a cheerful attitude, selling our home way above asking price and setting a record for price per square foot within our neighborhood. Due to Alzheimers, my father was unable to engage in the normal relationship a seller has with their realtor so I filled that spot. My mother chose Tom based on his outstanding reputation as the #1 realtor in the Fallbrook area and boy am I glad she did. Tom did an excellent job of explaining everything and was always immediately accessible through phone, text and email. He walked me through a process I was pretty clueless about with ease and was at every inspection and contractor related event that was necessary to get the house ready for sale. He literally rolled up his sleeves and did some heavy lifting when I wasnt able to. Toms long-term relationships with local contractors proved to be invaluable. From roofers to dry wallers to cleaners, I watched these people jump through hoops and rearrange their booked schedules to make things happen for Tom. He was also an excellent partner to have by my side when dealing with nightmare solar companies who didnt have their act together. Comment: Cyndi was amazing from the start when it came to everything we needed to do in order to get the ball rolling to get our home listed to sell. Knowledgeable and so helpful when it came to comps in the area and the best price for our home. Cyndi has a contact for everything that needed to be done in order to sell the home such as a photographer, inspector, etc. which was a huge help. The photos came out amazing! She also had flyers made and I kept one for memories because it was so well made and our house looked beautiful! The house went on the market on a Monday and we received an over asking price by Wednesday. Cyndi was such a great commutator when it came to working with the new buyers. We never felt like we didn’t know what was going on. I would highly recommend Cyndi when buying or selling a home. We also used her when we bought the house she just helped us sell. She really wanted to understand what our goals were in the immediate and helped us think down the road to what we may not be considering. We never thought wed be looking at a property in need of large scale renovation, but after understanding the resources available to us to pursue a mortgage with renovation funding, we went for it. Two years later were SO glad we did. Were now living in our fully renovated building with a new baby and fully rented units and rental income. If you had told me three years ago this would be possible, I would have thought you were nuts. How could that be within our reach? Well, without Jean - wed have never gone this route.We also ran into a couple contractor issues during the process and Jean went out of her way to connect us to industry experts who had experience dealing with our situation to offer advice and alternatives. Comment: When I first met Jean, instead of trying to get me to list my home she tried to find a way for me to stay put. Her sense & understanding of what people want is uncanny. I was so conflicted about listing again, because the 2 other Realtors with whom I had listed told me I would need to bite the bullet and dramatically lower my Sale price because the year built was showing 1985 rather than 2005. The Realtors offered NO remedies other than just reduce your price! After listing with her, she said, “Get in my car we are going to the County.” And, after 30 minutes my home was now valued on-line at the price I said it was worth all along! She picked up on the fact that the County had several details about my property incorrectly stated. This bad information was populating through the Internet and causing the value to show much lower than it should have been. I was so amazed because all the other Realtors kept telling me I had to lower my price and be willing to take a huge loss. Once we got the county information corrected, the on line values were aligned with my Listing Price. Jean has also spent thousands on videos, various ad campaigns, and has stayed in close touch with me this entire time. Jean keeps me updated on who is inquiring, copied me on 100’s of personal emails to horse race owners, breeders and trainers. Jean developed a profile of who and from where the most likely buyer would come. Jean is a very hands on, up front, trustworthy Realtor who puts her clients interests ahead of her own. I have been a owner builder and a spec buyer all my life. I have never in my life encountered a more fantastic, knowledgeable and experienced agent who also has 20+ years as a loan officer so she really knows her way around everything from the ground up to closing of escrows.
